Lullaby

There is no quiet place on Earth. The stars are singing to us.

The clatter of pulsars, thundering in the void. The snarls and hisses of Ganymede's magnetosphere. The chimes and hums of space debris.

We pass through it, energy waveforms created in the heavens. We pass through it, and it passes through us.

Inside each of us is a lullaby from a distant star.

One need only listen.

BACKMATTER:

I ran across a site which streams audio, converting energy waveforms detected in reasonably near-Earth space into audio data. Something about the sounds is, strangely comforting, and sparked the above little snippet.

The site, spacesounds, can be found here.
